University of Edinburgh Visit

CFF hosted MSc students from The University of Edinburgh and Dr Fiona Borthwick (Programme Director of MSc Food Security) as part of their week-long trip to Malaysia.

It was a very informative session, as not only did they partake in a sensory analysis conducted by FoodPLUS, but they also engaged in a panel discussion with our research programme representatives on the implications climate change has on food security and the opportunities underutilised crops bring to mitigate it. They also got to taste some wild bananas grown in the garden of Dome B, too!
